“It’s in the Water”!
It’s in the water! It’s true. If you have ever had a slice of pizza in NYC…..you just knew that there was something GREAT about the taste. You may have tried to find that same tasting pizza at several pizza places around town, but it NEVER tasted the same. Why? Well…It’s in the water! And guess what? You can experience it here locally, in Ormond Beach, at Bronx House Pizza.
I was invited to come taste some delicious dishes, and to learn about the ingredients. Did you know you can eat vegan at a pizza place? YES! I was in food heaven (they also have GF dishes).
So, what did I learn that night?
- Water gets shipped in from New York
- Flour is aged 5 months
- Dough is probiotic due to how they prepare it
- Tomatoes are top of the line and get de-seeded
- Mozzarella is 100% whole milk (vegan cheese is available)
The decor is very inviting and cute (yes, I said cute, I am allowed to). They have art on the walls, real parking meters, and some really AWESOME employee t-shirts. The staff is very friendly and inviting. My dad even may have had a LONG conversation with one of the owners on I don’t know what….. NY talk I guess.
Try them out! You can see their menu here, and they have a kids menu too.
